Unfortunately, I cannot understand the good reviews, nor share them. When I entered the restaurant, I met a musty, stale bar smell. The interior tries to hide the fact that modernization of the rooms is long overdue. The service seemed friendly, but not attentive enough for a restaurant that would like to be one of the more upscale on the island. Now for the meal ... the real disaster for me ... Anyone who advertises on the menu with ... food made from fresh ingredients ... and then uses a lot of finished products (which, if they were at least tasty, might have been tolerable, but the desserts, for example, were completely out of the can and overcooked ) commits in my eyes a rip-off towards the guests. Unfortunately, artificial flavor-enhancing substances and aromas were used that have no place in artisan food and are not only a NO-GO for sensitive people. The quality of my food was at most mediocre. At most the fish had almost reached the desired cooking point and taste. Furthermore, the large bottle of still water had already been opened to the table, which suggests that we as guests pay a lot of money for tap water. The open wine was decent and had a perfect drinking temperature. All in all I have no reason to come back, which I think is a shame, the location close to the beach is perfect.

Great location with a sensational view of the Norddorf beach and sunset. The food is excellent, small but fine menu. The service is attentive and friendly. Despite Corona restrictions, you feel very comfortable and welcome. 5 stars more than deserved

For an all-round great evening, I recommend this restaurant. Nice ambience, very attentive service and short waiting time - everything was great. Food was on point. Very, very tasty. Gladly again!

De Strunluuker is a more upscale restaurant. Don't let the external condition scare you away. The restaurant itself is modern. All the more, however, the exterior is noticeable negative. Hence a star deduction. It doesn't really fit together for me, as I'm a 3rd generation cook myself, but this is due to the current Corona conditions. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Now for the much more important food. I had a pumpkin cappuccino beforehand that tasted very good. As a main course, my wife had the BBQ vegetables on mashed sweet potatoes, which were very good in terms of appearance and taste. I had ordered the 300g cutlet from the Susländer pork for myself, with paprika vegetables and garlic potatoes and BBQ onions. Visually and in terms of taste also very good.

The ambience and service were okay, the food was good, but too expensive. The slogan "Germany's northernmost slow food restaurant" can only be meant with a wink, at least at the moment.

Overpriced and the terrace (which you can see from the inside) was closed despite the very good weather and there was space for dead plants. Service friendly

Nice atmosphere with delicious and completely fresh food, nice and attentive service. A MUST for me on another visit to the island. In addition, the breathtaking view of the sunset from the prime location ... ALWAYS HAPPY!

Absolute recommendation! Very nice service, child-friendly - smaller portion of the dishes no problem at all. Beautiful view. We had a good seat and very tasty food ... we will be back!

The food (in my case, duck) was quite good, but the service was apparently overwhelmed despite the (corona-related) low customer base and accordingly annoyed what was reflected in their behavior, hence 4 instead of 5 stars. The view and the ambience are terrific. All in all I can recommend the restaurant, but if I had the choice I would rather go to the neighboring beach 33.

All very tasty, a quick solution for a vegan horseradish sauce was found immediately. Small fine selection of fresh dishes. Nice service and great cuisine!

The Restaurant de Strunluuker is not exactly inviting from the outside. However, if you arrived in the guest room, then it invites you to linger. Not too big and not too small, in good weather with a great terrace overlooking the sea. The menu is clear and not crowded. We ate different dishes there, all were really excellent in taste and very well presented. Rarely eaten so well. The price / performance ratio is very good, here is really fair food at very reasonable prices. We will be back.

Really good food .... philosophy "slow food". Not a big card for it all super fresh ingredients. Appetizer very tasty. Main course fried the steak to the point. Dessert delicious. Any time!!! .... and again "been there" .... I would even give 6 points ......

Inside Hui! Who does not impress from the outside, experienced a very good Slow Food restaurant with great service. We were fed after a long beach hike great.

Don't be put off by the exterior (old house facade) !! An incredibly delicious meal, had a lentil and an asparagus soup - a perfect and bold seasoning! The menu is small, changing depending on the season and always fresh! Seating inside and on the terrace in beach chairs with a view of the sea, the dunes and the sunset. Service top, extremely friendly and attentive. I can highly recommend it!

Our recommendation! Very tasty dishes lovingly prepared. The service was also very, very friendly. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. From the outside, the building is already somewhat disheveled by the north wind. But you shouldn't let that stop you. Everything inside is picobello!
